Signups for the 2023 SOLL Turkey Tournament will open at 9:00am PT on Wednesday November 8th! The sign-up link will be sent out via email blast and posted on the SOLL Facebook page and website at 9:00am PT on Wednesday.

11th ANNUAL SOLL TURKEY TOURNAMENT
What: A round-robin tournament open to kids that can’t get enough baseball!! Open to league age 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 year olds. Division breakdown is: League-age 11/12 in upper division, league-age 9/10 in middle division, league-age 7/8 in lower division (going by their league ages for the upcoming Spring season). Spots are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis, and signups will be closed once we hit the max!! Teams will be assigned and players will be contacted by their manager by Wednesday night, November 22nd.
How: Signups will open at 9am PT on Wednesday November 8th. A sign-up link will be sent out via email blast and also posted to the SOLL Facebook page and website. It fills up fast (less than an hour last year for one division!!!), so please mark your calendars, set your alarms, whatever you need to do! If you you do not sign up in time and it fills up, email Azzie Mackenzie ([email protected]) to get on the wait list.
When: Saturday November 25th and Sunday November 26th. Some older division teams will also have a Friday evening game on November 24th In the event of rain, the tournament will take place the following weekend.
Where: Sherman Oaks Little League
Cost: $60 per player (Cash only, please!!). Cash payment due at the fields before their first game when they pick up their uniform. Any leftover proceeds will go to SOLL.
Format: Round-robin Saturday followed by bracket-style elimination format Sunday.
Brief Rules Summary:
- Kid Pitch for older and middle divisions (2 innings per game max); Umpire pitch for younger division.
- Stealing will be allowed in Kid Pitch divisions.
- All kids bat.
- Infield Rule – all kids must play the infield at least 2 innings per game.
To Participate or ask questions: Spots will be filled on a first come, first serve basis, and we will cap it once we hit our max.
